Since 1990, the PAWC has
hosted a pre-conference activity with topics ranging from Strengthening
Social Science Research at 1890 Institutions and Tuskegee University, to
Focus on the Black Belt Counties: Life Conditions and Opportunities, and
Food Security in the Age of Globalization.
